As long as they don't show up in a smart car, I think it's cool!

Awesome, thanks. I'm glad I can meet up some time. My smart car has a 1/2" lift on 26's, so most ant hills are not a challenge. Sometimes, though, it's easier to just leave the tow strap connected to my buddies truck and let him drag me through the woods.

Heard that kit doesn't require Cab mount chop to fit 285s.

Ok guys the 23rd is rapidly approaching. If we're seriously looking to do a get together/trail ride we should finalize a time and place to meet up fairly soon. A couple possible locations have been suggested. Is there a time that works better for most people?

I say that we should aim to meetup and earlier in the day so that we have as much of the daylight that we can.

I would propose an 11am meet up time, roll out by 11:30. Gives people time to get there without having to wake up super early and rush up there; while still giving plenty of daylight to explore.

When we'd head up, we would often meet up at the Marathon station at the 4 mile rd exit just off of 75 (Charlies Corner). They have plenty of parking, and people can top off their tanks and grab trail snacks and what not; then can head down 4 Mile Rd to Military Rd from there. Else, the next exit up (business 75/M72) has quite a few more options.

Hey all. I’ve lived in Nashville for the past 8 years but grew up west of Detroit. I’m up there all the time and just wanted to throw out a line and introduce myself. Very active with overland/off road trips and constantly burning money/modding the taco. Will follow this thread in case I’m ever up visiting during a meet.

Ok then unless the group objects I propose we shoot for 11am at the Marathon station on the 4 mile road exit.

Well don't count me in just yet, but I'm interested in meeting on the 23rd. I'm not sure if I'll be taking the truck, because quite frankly I don't like to get it too scratched up and I have a Jeep for that. Regardless, I'd like to see everyone and check out some trucks and Grayling is always a fun place to go wheeling.

I'll either be there in my Spruce DCSB or my JKU. Both are green and pretty rare colors so I should be pretty easy to spot.

I'm still in. The 11AM meet at the Marathon station works for me.
