would it work to just use the towing hitch then as the retrieval point?

I don't mind making the trip. Hopefully the blower motor fix wont take them long on Friday. I'd like to have my truck back for whatever wheeling we do. I'm coming regardless.

    That could work.

I might try to get a buddy or two to come along. Silly silverado's...they just wish z-71 meant something!

Edit: Just looked through some pics they have up on their facebook page. Looks beyond what a stock set up is capable of. Do you know more about the land they have Chris?

Matt im not entirely sure. They are suppose to have trails and stuff for all vehicles from what I was told. I figure if sport quads can get around then we should be able to also. We will be bringing Craig's suburban so if it isn't great for us we can sink that in some deep holes.

I'm going to explore Yankee springs some more. There is a lot more trail to be found than what I've gone through so far. Took 2 hours of wheelin to get through parts of it last time. Gotta see if the fj can make it up in 2wd what required 4wd in the taco. If anyone wants to tag along tomorrow let me know. Should head out around 10-12 or so.

Also is an ORV sticker required for kids in the mud? I didn't find anything on their website about that.

kids in the mud is private so no ORV.

I might end up in Grand Rapids tomorrow to talk about getting my bed cage built. I doubt it will be early enough to make it to yankee springs though.

No problem, I'd consider a second trip out there if you wanted to see the trails.

616-581-7689 if anyone wants to come out today. Text/call whatever works best for ya.

Well its been requested that I keep my truck out of the off road parks until I find a beater or get a quad. I understand the concerns and what it could do to it so I guess I'm out. Would still love to find some trails today though!

I'm damn determined to get up this one hill at Yankee with out the use of 4wd.
