just got back from kid in the mud. It was OK lots of mud. And yes it was real mud not the sand kind. Lots of mud runs, a rock ladder, and some trails. It really is just mud runs though.

Brandon you probably would enjoy it more than me, but it was a good time. I ended up denting my bedside in the flex holes so I didn't go over the tree ladder. Going to have to give in and get sliders. Craig had a blast blowing through the mudholes in the suburban.

Not any places that I've found that require the sliders out there but still some fun to be had. Going out tomorrow at noon to see what the rain has brought to my dreaded hill. Probably going to end up stuck finding a back way home. Hopefully there is a good snow mix to make it more difficult yet. Really want to see my buddies 6" lift on the gmc do him NO good.

Well after bombing around today at Yankee I've decided that I am not going to lift the truck or go with a larger tire. Still going to get some duratracs but factory size 245/75/16 load range c.

Even my duncraps got the job done in 2wd and a couple of extra runs at this stupid hill out there and I got up.

Found some new trail out there and took about 3 hours to get through everything. It was a blast, but very slick on most of the hills.

First part of the hill I keep talking about. Today was slick as snot all the way up and roughly a 7 degree grade according to the fj's dashboard gauge. I just kept the wheel speed around 15-20 mph and it spun its way up the trail.
