That's a horrible idea. What time?
It's on the list, but not a high priority. Wheels and maybe a re-gear, after a commuter car for my 45 mile drive to work.

If my guess at your bumper is correct, you may very well be right!

Vermillion Cliffs, AZ, North of the Grand Canyon. I'm doing a trip report linked in the signature below.

Ah I meant more for getting things straightened out with a daily and bills and such before spending big money on a fat rear.

I'm running RCI armor all around.

Incidentally.... "November" will get you 15% off on RCI products through the end of the month :D

We were there a month ago -- did you get to White Pocket? Spectacular, freaky rocks.

My ego makes me say this: I made it out there in 2 wheel drive, despite what signs and maps say. Yep plenty of soft beach sand.

One long bill is almost over. I'm hoping to pay off the student loan by the end of January. Save a few of those payments and find a commuter. Maybe this summer I can finish the truck.

We only had time for one trail up there, so just Point Sublime. We were planning on the fire tower as well, but we're runabout of day light so we skipped it. Which was good because we saw a herd of bison on the way out. They actually wound up crossing the trail in front us.

I've got some small things I want to do to support camping and travel, like better coms and maybe satellite for the areas around here without cell coverage, and organizational stuff. Besides wheels and (big) maybe a rear bumper, the truck is pretty much where I want it. Admittedly, it really never ends, but I think most of the four digit dollar items are done.

Good to hear you’re near completion of the 4 digit items. I’m just getting started into many of them lol

wife wanted a new Sienna but passed knowing I had some things on the truck to take care of.

Anyone want my stock bumper in army green? It’s got a dent and some scratches but works perfectly. Got a new one!

Sorry, rear. We are missing the hardware to mount the spare on the swing out. And we couldn’t find on the website where it says the hinge for the license plate was an extra accessory we have to buy to use the receiver. Luckily I’m married to McGyver so he has figured out work around. It wasn’t too hard just missing parts can really throw the project off.

Could have been an honest mistake on their part too.

Don't forget to double check all of the wrapping and packing, sometimes hardware gets taped in and then lost lol

Edit: mounting the tire to the carrier should just be using lug nuts, right?

You know, I will have to investigate that. My husband was the one that said it was missing but I couldn't figure out from the video what was missing.
