    I’ll reach out to them.

Have a used 2012 dclb that I bought a couple years ago. Was built by previous owner but picked up from a dealer without any information on what was underneath. So figuring out the lift size now as things need rebuilt or replaced.

Ill be on Round Lake, just east of Harbor Springs. Weather is looking less frozen and more melty than the forecast said a few days ago. Fatbiking might be a no-go.

Thanks! I live in Macomb Township but drive up about once a month for a week or so to Petoskey for work. I also have a place in the thumb between Lexington and Port Sanilac.
I am glad I settled in on the DCLB, I looked at a lot of trucks before finding this one.

Cool. Waterford here, just south of 59. Family has a place in Petoskey so wife and I go up a few times a year. If you need any help/tools/etc, I'm the neighbor to ask.

That’s good to know. I learn a lot from watching YouTube videos, try to do my own maintenance when I can, etc. but having a friend with knowledge is priceless. I got into pinball machines a while back (the long bed helps with hauling pins around), while I like playing them, I find rebuilding them more pleasurable. I have no experience with pinball, but learned real quick watching YouTube and finding people around that know what they’re doing. I rebuilt a VW bus once using the same method. Like Tacoma Trucks, Pinball and VW Busses have excellent communities of people.
I’m actually just north of 59 in Macomb, near Partridge Creek mall. My main office is in Clarkston seems I wind up in and near Waterford a lot.

Cool. I've made a living turning wrenches starting in a bicycle shop, eventually on aircraft in a couple places and ran an aircraft maintenance business in FL for a while, now I do R&D for a military propulsion and electrical generation systems company in the area. If it has moving parts, I probably will be interested in it. I am also into mechanical watches and have a small collection. I'm not a Tacoma Guru, but as with most vehicles, it's only a matter of knowledge, the wrench turning part is easy.

Hey everyone... moving from Dallas to Ann Arbor soonish. What's the best source for trail info (off-road) that would include camping options?

Pic below is from Black Gap Road in Big Bend National Park.

    Welcome!

What kind of trail info are you looking for? GAIA has a lot of info and many like it for off-road navigation. I have found it's UI to be clunky and unintuitive but I probably just need to use it more and learn it. OnX off-road has trails, some basic info and regulatory info about them and occasionally info/pictures provided by other users. OnX has come a long way in the last few years as far as UI/usability and is now my primary navigation app when off-road. OnX shows public campgrounds like those at state parks and other things like boat ramps, trailheads, etc. A big thing that OnX has is the ability to download areas for use offline. OnX is a subscription based app for most of the useful features. I think it's around $40/year outside of the occasional promotions when it's discounted.

I should say that I'm certainly no expert and solidly in the amateur off-road category.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into what you shared. Really looking for intermediate level trails...most of my off-road experience is from CO/UT with some Texas. I'm more into exploring than rock crawling or mudding. I won't say overlanding...but I'll agree with car camping.

    Haha! Don't use the O-word!

Michigan doesn't have much for rock crawling so it's good that you're not looking for that, but some of the forest roads and many of the trails are no joke. Mosquitoes can be pretty bad in the summer, too. Once you get north of Muskegon/bay City, the trails really become abundant and not much further north you can spend days on end exploring whole areas of the state off-road.

Welcome to Michigan! Also, we have 3 National Forests in Michigan, with all kind of trails. You can access the Motor Vehicle Use Maps from their websites. @GrundleJuice I didnt know you did aviation stuff!?!? I was in the USAF as a Flight Mech for 26 years! Same as you, if it has moving parts, I like to tinker with it...Sorry I missed you over the holidays. got sick...not the rona, but sick none the less...
