Waterford here. I work in Walled Lake much of the time and get over to Northville & Livonia fairly regularly. There's not a whole lot of off-road fun around here, but if you need a heated garage/tools/etc anytime, I am happy to help when I can.

Short notice, but anyone going to this? https://www.atomotiv.com/

I talked to the owner of a '79 40-series that gets into the Toyota Truck/SUV scene and he said that they desperately need more Trucks/SUV's to show up at this show. It's all Supras, Corollas, MR-2s, FR-S' and just a couple trucks in the past, according to him. I plan to be there at 10 since I will probably only be able to stay until noon or so.

I’ve been hoping for an import style car show, tough to come by In Michigan; thanks for sharing the link. Newish to MI, however, have to work today and saw your post super late or else would have entered my little sr. My wife calls it a trailer queen..

Did the LED interior light kit upgrade tonight. A little change but a huge difference. Can actually see inside the cab at night now. I used the tacomabeast kit but had to swap out there dome bulb with one from diode dynamics, as the tocomabeast bulb was a few mills too long for my '22.

Welcome! Also welcome to the very exclusive MI Lunar Rock club. Your official sash and decoder ring will be sent to you in the mail shortly.

To answer your question, the dunes = Silver Lake Off-road Park located in Mears, MI (West side of state). As far as what you’ll need, here is a handy infographic that should explain everything:

Thank you thank you, very excited - quicksand was an awesome color but this Lunar Rock is a pleasure to look at. I know what to research now, looks like i'll need a flag mount! Awesome, thank you for your help, going to try to make it out there by Fall sets in.

I saw a lunar rock Tacoma, what looked like an offroad, yesterday at home depot that had a storm trooper logo where the traditional TRD logo is on the truck bed. Thought for sure it must be one of ya'll lol. Was in commerce i think.

I just got back from silver lake sand dunes today. Great day. You're going to love it. Make sure you air down! Finding your "right" psi makes all the difference.

So what was your right psi?
    What tire do you run?
I run a LT Hankook MT and today I went down to 20 psi and I couldn't even tell looking at the tire. The ride however was mint...butter smooth.
