That's a horrible idea. What time?
So if you get down this way let me know. About a 2 hour drive from thereto Harrisonburg VA and we can run a few trails. Union Springs Road and Switzer Creek are a couple in that area that we run.

I had a full height rack with the RTT and instantly lost 3 mpg. I put a roof rack on and it lifted the air enough to get part of it back. I put a mid height on and got the rest back. But the weight climbing a mountain pass on the work commute had me dropping to 4th gear to climb it (MT). Sold the RTT (because 45 pound dog) and can climb in 5th again. We're going to head west for Big Bend and a few other NP's this fall with the KO2's. Like last time, I won't be checking the mileage. It was depressing.

Never said anything about Revos lol ( never heard of them tbh)

Personally, Falken Wildpeak AT3s are the best ATs I've ever seen/used. Balance well, wear evenly, awesome off road, fantastic in the snow and rain, quiet on the road. After 50,000 miles on my last set they were still doing well.

Yokohomas and Toyos also seem to be well tempered, balance well, wear evenly, long lasting etc.

Of course, all of this is just personal experience/opinion as both a wheeler and Toyota Tech (everybody with a 4Runner wants upgraded tires, lol)

Edit: as much as I don't like Nittos..... They seem to do well in the dry

I've never owned the falkens but heard and read good things about them. When I bought my tires back in Jan/Feb I couldn't get them in 285's. I tried. Hell, I was lucky to get the nittos. They weren't my first choice but I took a chance. It took Discount tire over a week to get them in. Mine balanced well, believe me I was back there when they did it, and, like I said they are growing on me. They performed really well at silver lake aired down and their road manners are really good too. I didn't look at the yokohoma's but did the toyo's, couldn't get them. I've run coopers several times, but mostly been a big BFG ko fan ever since the 80's. They're tough as a pine knot but their poor road manners, gas mileage, and weight, I'd had enough. I really liked the nittos in Feb/Mar in the snow up here, I gotta say that was a shocker. I didn't think they would do worth a shit, but they did for me. I can relate to the experience/opinion part as I'm an old wheeler too, since the 70's, and a master tech (GM factory) retired. My specialty is automatic trans/differentials. LOL, ask me why I drive a manual. LOL.

I definitely believe that. I never realized just how important aerodynamics were over payload until I watched a couple of tests with the Rivian R1T and F150 Lightning recently. I feel like I lose about 1-2 MPG with the RTT on the truck. However, I also got some of that back when I called out the dealership for having never changed my air filters. I get pretty good MPG in the mountains simply because what goes up must come down.

I thought the roof rack would help, and was pleasantly surprised that it did. The roof rack change was even better. I got back all of what I lost. Now I'm contemplating selling the bed rack as I don't have the RTT. But I just put a rifle case up there for a tool box and a cargo basket. Something to think about, but I like it, so it will probably stay.

I suppose it's only fair to mention that my Ridge Grapplers were pretty damn good at Windrock Park in Tennessee down at 12 psi. They didn't like mud as much as the Wildpeaks but they excelled in the rock gardens.

Props onthe manual. Toyota tech myself, I'll get to Master level eventually

It was very happy at 62.5 mph. I’m positive I can pull 30 out of this thing if it’s 100 degrees out with low humidity.

530 miles SE, hanging out at home and getting yard work done. Wife's weekend to work. I like the sail idea for shade. Nice. And looks like a good way to spend a few days.

Baldwin, MI. No fancy setup this weekend though. Prepping for Colorado/Utah hike and bike trip in a couple of weeks.

You don't. He's got this 2.7 4 cylinder. You should be able to get 22ish though.

Oddly enough, the 6 cylinder is rated higher on the highway. Or at least in 2WD vs 2WD. It used to be that way across the board even though nothing has changed in the 3rd gen to my knowledge.

6 cylinder can still get great mileage if you drive it right

I used to manage for Walmart. From what I can tell, 120,000 square feet is about average for a store in that kind of area. Unless it's been updated since, it does surprise me that the photo's show it's a single entrance store instead of the double entrance you usually see. That's an older style footprint and not what they/ve been building over the last 15+ years.
