I have been very happy with my 2nd gen Tundra. It tows well and goes down trails, but it does get big on some of our Michigan trails. Coming from a diesel I felt like the Tundra was the least compromise as a half ton. It is hasnt had any real issue hauling my Tacoma and gear to Windrock in Tennessee

TFL also did a video towing with the Tundra after the trans cooler was removed and the temperature results were pretty alarming.

I have never made it down for any events. I go visit a buddy in Nashville area every summer and we head over for a few days. Our wives usually dictate the schedule.

That must have sucked. I ran the trails 1 time with my 2 nd gen. It's just too wide.

The Tundra ends up on the trails a couple times a year when I dont feel like towing one of my other trucks. It always needs a good buff after.

How do you like the rough country parts? I've been considering the vertex shocks and currently have the UCAs coming in the mail this week.

Wife and I are in south Carolina until next week. We were just talking that we don't want to go back home. Your picture is only adding to our anxiety.

Just saw this.... I ran the vertexes at sno drift and ran a little bit more than I should have. They are GREAT - just need some serious rust proofing on shock body and reservoir hose. I'm in Toledo, but basically live in MI most of my time.
