I miss our Subie, gave it to our daughter, that was awesome in the snow and ice

This is a big reason why I full-time FJ swapped my truck - I wanted a Tacomaru. :D I sort of chanced in to my first Subaru a number of years ago (1st gen Forester), but it quickly made a believer out of me. Absolutely love those cars!

After I put snow tires on mine, I'd take the "bad" and/or rural routes to and from work just for fun. They made it almost a little too good though, I have a NA-auto and it's a lot of work/coordination to get it sliding..

That's how I felt when running Falken Wildpeaks on my MT. I had to work to break them loose

Thought I'd check here before biting the down time bullet and having mine powdercoated - anyone around here have a set of 2G 16x7 alloys? I'd be interested in either nicer originals, or 'cores' to have refinished as long as they're not in too bad of shape..

Marketplace is the only reason I wish I still had the facebooks..but unfortunately I don't have that option and nobody uses Craigslist out here..

Just popping on this thread to say hey - I'm in SW MI, see a TON of Tacomas these days but don't know anyone other than my dad that drives one. Heading up to the Eastern UP to explore some trails shortly :mudding:

Really? I feel like I rarely see Tacomas around these parts… much less built ones.

Eastern UP sounds like you need to visit Drummond Island. Is that your plan or are you thinking other areas?

Yep, I am hoping to get there but we'll see. If nothing else, just driving out to some remote places to chill and fish. My truck is stock so it's not like I'm gonna be climbing the steps at Marblehead or anything.

There are a lot more the further north you get. Just about every other car in Marquette was a Tacoma or 4Runner.
