I have even looked at topper shells but that eliminates the use of my crossbars I made for the bikes and or a basket if I either make one or buy like the Yakima basket.

I have to redo my rack I have for mounting my RTT on this spring (hopefully!). The RTT will be able to be used for a few more years with the boy being young yet but I will need more room in years to come. I have it down to 2 possibilities:

    A. Get a commercial-type cap with teh doors on the sides and make a bed platform in there and mount teh RTT on that .
    B. Start saving for a Flip-pac. They are teh shit but not cheap.

Weld looks like shit I know! Hot gas was a little much for the sch40 pipe. Ended up filling undercut on most of it.

    Welcome KTM

Keep an eye out on this thread, we try and get some meets together and do some wheeling from time to time.

    Thanks Jay.

If any second gen guys want the set that I made out of mild steel I will make you a deal on them. They are good for at least 300lbs across both. I think factory Toyota bars were rated for 150ish across both. Not going to ship so will have to meet somewhere for sale.

Ya I have a wife now so that doesn't seem to ever happen anymore, at least not that she knows about ;). Grass is always greener on the other side but I wouldn't change the way my life has gone.

I will see your wife and raise you a kid (almost 2). Now that will kill some funds for truck building.

    Boy, that just doesn't sound right. . . . . .

See your wife and 2 year old, and raise you a 9 year old boy and plus a year (3years) on my daughter.

but anyway KTM, you can see my truck in my pics if you're in my area. I'm between South Haven and Kalamazoo most of the time. If any of you guys do see me don't wave, everyone seems to recognize me and wave, so you'll just be another person I don't recognize, and don't flip me off cause I get a fair share of those as well.

We'll have to come up with a special gesture, like a V to the mouth or something :D

I fold even though I don't think people understand how expensive my wife is.

We will have to work on the special jesture. I like the V but some people get the wrong idea .
