What types of wheeling do you guys have in MI? We have really been looking for stuff here in WI, not finding much of anything. Really starting to miss AZ!

i have some pretty good GPS routes for there. There are some on the UP Overland forum too. All the info you need can be provided on that forum. They are a great bunch (several from WI come on the trip).

A pic from '10 when we ran on the Firesteel Trestles a little south of Houghton (not my 40). This is only a teaser.

I am always down for a road trip. Definitely wouldn't mind going to the UP. We went up there a couple months ago.

I've been looking over the threads on up overland. Looks like a good place to roam around. I can see on Google earth how many fire / forestry roads and trails are up there. Resembles spaghetti haha.

Himmie is right though. Not much at all here in Wisconsin. We both have looked all over the place and haven't found much...unlike Arizona, where its pretty much endless.

I take endless trips across the UP on GE. There is so much great stuff to see and explore. There are a ton of old mine relics, fire roads etc. There is a a WWII training bomber wreck that is a short hike back to in the Porkies, the old rocket launch, former POW camps, lighthouses, etc. I have been up there the past 5 years and there is still a lot I want to see.
