I didn't really look at the rear that closely. I did see that you have Rough Country shocks.

They had it parked out front by the road, I guess to show off. I recognized it right away from some of your posts and build page. I had to pull in an get a closer look. I knew they had it to do some work for you but wasn't sure what they were doing. I snapped a pick of the front suspension but didn't really look at the rear too closely.

I figure that and appreciate the pick. Im having taco withdraw :(. Im dont live close enough to just stop in and I am used to doing most work myself so I have a hard time not knowing whats going on. Especially because of how nice the weather is.
Ryan is a real nice freindly guy you should stop in and talk to him, I working on turning him from the dark side (ford) and become a good guy (toyota obviously).

Oh well just hope to have it back for us to all to do a meet soon enough.

I am looking forward to it.

BTW does anyone have an opinion on which Toyota service department to use. I have to bring mine in for the spiral cable recall.

Looks like one that was for sale around here last summer. Does it have a SBC in it?

I'm headed up to Lenger this afternoon. I guess we will see how far along they are with the truck. I am planning on putting a few things on and measuring for next part of my plans.

Cool. So you can have the greasable shackles and bolts if you cant reuse the stock sleeves. we arent going to use them.

Sounds like we will definetly be going to Silver Lake in two weeks. The 8th. Who else wants to meet up there?

ill keep u posted on both of those.

question: I got a BPV bracket on the way from BAMF. Anything else you'd recommend for making the lift work properly/better? Ive read some of the discussions on diff drops... what is your opinion?

no need for a diff drop, only need for over 2.5" lift. At one time I had one and it sits nicely in the cabinet because I really didn't think it did anything. You really dont need anything else. Once you get it on we can check the rear and you will probably want longer rear shocks eventually.

right. all in good time lol

im thinking about a single bar roof rack with some lighting buttt I do not want to drill into my roof for obvious reasons so I've just been researching other options... any ideas on ways of securing? If i can come up with a good method ill prob build my own rack

There may be a way of a gutter-style mount. I ended up just finding the factory roof bars and mounting my roofrack onto them. The factory bars say they are only good for @ #150 or something like that. I don't want that much weight up there anyway.
