I might be willing to do some exploring in Yankee springs area today. A couple of Chevy boys wanted me to show them around but I don't like all the noise they make.

I know jimmyk4d5 was a maybe for going.

We didn't finish up till late last night so we didn't make it anywhere today.

I know most people arent Silver Lake fans but I am headed there next saturday to work out tuning. Also planning on going up with a group of freinds the 28th weekend.

I still see billies under that front end, when you going to get the coilovers and springs on? I should have stoped by on my way back through and helped you get er done, but it looked like you had your own fun.

Silver Lake was a good time. Got the suspension dialed in pretty good, only one scetchy moment . I probably got a little wilder than I should have but no serious breakages.

I leave for army stuff on friday so the front will be on before that. I'm gonna need to find a torch for the springs so not sure if I can get that done this week or not but the fronts for sure

Well, I find this annoying but maybe I am too much of a "good kid"

Some old friends from the street car days found some interest in off-roading which is cool except they are causing some damage...like the guy slid sideways down the mucky hill into a tree with his Subaru. Since there are plenty of signs that say no motor vehicles off the trail give him a kind warning or let the DNR catch them and write em up? They are public trails and would like to keep them that way.

Bestop, Child Seats, petrified french fry, dog hair, empty Mtn Dew cans cracked windshield, scratches.
It's important to use the open areas that we have the way they're intended. It's easier to maintain when people stay on the trail, and gives the DNR and Environazis less to bitch about when we follow the rules. I would not call you Dudley Do Right.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with pointing out to someone the general guidelines of Tread Lightly, or even direct them to the site

Maybe I just point out the website. I found myself going around large rocks that weren't there the previous weekend. Ruts were getting deep in the wet sand though holy cow!

So it looks like to have a shop get that fkd up bolt out and install the coilovers will be ~$180 so sometime this week I'm gonna swing by my previous boss's place (the blacksmith) and see if he can help me get that bolt out with his metalworking magic lol

then hopefully we can torch the u-bolt nuts at the same time...

If you can't get it you always come this way and we can get you squared away. Just alittle bit of a drive, but it wont be $180 in gas.
