So when we going to get out wheeling again?

got my sliders pretty much finished up. I tucked them up tight but they should do the job. Now if I only had a front diff. ordered gears and such so should be back in buisness next week.

Soon. I've got some items soon to be in possession and will hopefully be some improvement.

Some asshole door dinged my bedside hard enough to cut through a fair amount of paint. Quote so far is 718 bucks. :(. If I had done this wheeling I'd man up and pay but this just sucks! Next is sliders w/ kick out and maybe like spikes embedded so people really jack their doors up!

Thought I recognized it. Yes - it was out front when I drove past on my way home from work. It sure looks nice.

    Hello all,

My name is Robert Tam and I work at the Toyota Technical Center (TTC) located in Saline, MI. TTC is the headquarters for Toyota's North American Design and Research. We design and evaluate North American vehicles such as the Sienna, Avalon, Camry, Tundra, Tacoma, and Venza.

Every year we have a company wide car show for our team members to show off their personal cars.

This year, we'd like to extend an invitation to the local car clubs/forums to come and join us for the car show as a show of appreciation. Due to space limitations, we will be selecting 5 vehicles from each Toyota brand (Toyota/Scion/Lexus).

The car show will be held on Friday, July 20th at our facility from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Lunch will be provided, several cars will be on display, and we will have the Toyota m&m Nascar Racecar there as well as Nascar driving simulations. You will also have the opportunity to meet the actual engineers that design the many Toyota's you see on the road today as well as chief engineers and vice presidents. Entrants will also be eligible to win a trophy.

If you are interested in attending the show, please send me a pm with your email address. I will then send you an email and ask for a picture of your car and a list of any modifications / additional info. Our committee will then choose the 5 vehicle's and notify the respective owners.

I'd personally like to have a couple Taco's there this year because that's one of our upcoming main projects. Thank you and hope to meet some of you soon!

Rob (96 4Runner SR5, Tundra coils w/ spacer front, OME HD Springs rear, OME shocks all around, custom sliders, 1" body lift, 285 Dueler Revo's)

Matt: I'm pretty sure I've met Tim a few times just didn't remeber his name. He seems cool. I'm very bad with names.

Allpro slider are nice, I just dont like the ones that are already welded because they usually sit pretty flat and stick way out.

5100's will be sweet. Get them on and then we need to get Jay and hit some trails.

Well the 5100's are on. Set it on the normal stock ride height and still have a crazy amount of lift. I can't see it settling 3" or better. Pics to fallow soon.

I set the clip at the lowest setting. Checked and double checked the paper that came with them to make sure we didn't have it backwards. The ride so far is absolutely amazing compared to the stockers.

Saw your post in suspension. Do you understand what needs to be changed? I believe the bottom plate that sits on the clip should be flipped over so the spring nests into it. Looks about like the extra amount of lift also.

Ya I understand. Unfortunately I have to get ahold of some wicked spring compressors to fix this. I destroyed the ones I have.

I think autozones have ones they can loan you. Not sure how heavy duty they are.

Going to do some wheeling in Yankee springs Sunday morning or afternoon with some FJC guys. Tara and I will be camping in the rustic sites saturday into Sunday so if you wanna bring your tents along. Going to roast some marshmallows and maybe make some burgers or something. Let me know should be a good time! Oh and some light mountain biking possibly, it's a hell of a course though.
