My fiancé's father claims there are some good trails near his parents cabin in Whitehall. If I can manage to get up there before hand I'll check them out.

So looks like I am 99% set on buying an FR-S sooo that means the truck's potential mods are probably gonna be put on hold for the time being... at least until I store the FR-S for the winter. But I still haven't done any group trail running with the new fabtechs/icon springs!

Any of you fellow Michigan ATVers know of any Yamaha rear rim/wheel combos for sale? I'm selling my paddles and looking for some mud terrain type tires for my warrior 350.

You will have to take me for a ride in the FR-S.

We need to get a trail run going, but you need to meet me at Silver Lake next weekend for at least a day to test the setup out.

I've heard from people the frs is a slug. But regardless of what they say I think it's a sweet little car and I'm sure it handles amazing!! Crawford performance I see is making a turbo kit up for them...:D:D

Leaving tomorrow for traverse city. Never been there should be a fun little trip.

I live up in traverse, are you driving your taco up here? I actually drove the br-z (Subaru's version of the fr-s), its a quick little car, its nothing spectacularly fast. But its handling is great, I use to own a supercharged mini cooper so i know how a tight handling car feels. If you threw a turbo on the fr-s im sure it would make a world of a difference.

Well @200hp/150tq if you buy the car expecting big power, you should go back to grade school and learn your #s lol. Its peppy, no doubt there, but its real ability is in the handling. and power is alot easier to add than other things. With its 12.5:1 Compression Ratio, even a touch of boost will make it go nuts lol

Next weekend being like the 8-9th ish? Cuz if so I will be busy with army stuff :( i'm free this weekend tho... well probably busy making sweet love to the FR-S but other than that :p .... kidding.... or am I?

Ya I am going to be up there the 8th and 9th. Just means its about time for a run, if we can pry you away from that FR-S.

And dont worry I think I would be making sweet love to it if I had it. Reminds me of my Acura RSX type S that I used to have, but they fixed the major problem and made it rear wheel drive.

12.5.1. Hm a bit steap! I wonder how Crawford will be tuning it and what kind of boost they will run then.

And ya we took the taco up there. Kind of wish we had taken something else. Loud duratracs and shitty warped wheels made for a rough ride. M22 sure was a blast on the way home though.

Well it's official guys. I leave next week Sunday (sept. 9th) for California. Annndd I'm driving the taco the entire way out there!!!! Praying that the wheeling I've done doesn't leave me stranded somewhere along the way...

I usually keep the underside power washed after a trip off road soon I would imagine it would be ok. Planning to have the dealer do a multi point inspection this week before the trip.
