I was thinking about checking the trails tomorrow after church to see if there is much damage in the way...there's been trees down the last couple trips out there. I guess I have to go to Cali one more time on the 11th this month. (Sigh). Sick of that project!

And I agree Chris. Head to head is way more fun. I always did better racing head to head in r/c days...especially stock classes where everyone is more evenly matched.

How's the weather over there? Tomorrow I'll be going from Cleveland to Kalamazoo to pick up a topper. Is it supposed to keep snowing tomorrow too?

Go with a miata, fun cheap lightweight rwd... same basic concept as the FR-S so the competition will be more driver oriented ;)

I ride a Ducati 1098. I need to get my fork seals replaced before I do any riding but it sounds like I'll have time to get that done while I wait for it to warm up.

Eh. I saw a couple Harleys go by a few days before Christmas. My co-worker rides 15 miles into work until mid-Nov. at least usually.

Uuuggghhhh. I llllloooovvvveeee Ducati.... Jealous of the sound really. From what I understand they are a little more difficult to ride than other brands (very stiff/unforgiving). That true?

Once you get used to the gearing it's really simple to ride. I do a lot of engine braking so I find it to suit my needs better. In the turns it feels like it is on a rail because it is so streamlined. It is a very narrow bike. I went one down in the front and two down in the rear to give it a little more torque because I rode a lot of canyons and mountain roads. If you ever get a chance to ride one take it. It will make you fall in love with L-Twins.

Alright. I fly out to California on Tuesday and supposed to return Saturday...I have my doubts with that but we will see. I would assume right now that weekend is not do-able.

Well we could probably get out there Saturday morning to slip around a bit. Let me know if that works and we could meet up somewhere. I'll rally up a couple other vehicles also if possible.

Ya tomorrow morning or closer to noon ish. Lets say 10?

Weird thing with the FJC today. Tara took it out of 4hi and the TRAC OFF light came on along with the check engine light. Did this at no speed, kind of odd. Bums me out I was going to take that to Yankee!

I guess I can't go tomorow. Some stuff went to hell at work today so I will be spending the day there. Oh boy.

Take the FJ to autozone and have them run the code. See what going on, computer is probably just confused.

It's all covered under warranty anyway. I have a suspicion it's because I tried doing donuts the night before and it didn't like that!

I wonder if that's one of those grey-market Skylines that the feds impound and crush leaving the owners with no recourse? Seems like a great price, when most I have seen go for 3-4x that amount.
