So it sounds like I need to pic one type of wheeling or finally pic up a trail rig also. The two wheeling groups I am involved in are planning trips on back to back weekends.

Ridge Runners will be at Rocks and Valleys april 26th

    and

Silver Lake Prerunners will be doing the invasion May 2nd weekend.

As always everyone is welcome to join in with either group just let me know.

I understand. Still have 4 months. I am in the same boat, need to decide if I am going to ditch my mid front for LT.

It's awesome out here. Has some awesome wheeling spots and some that got me too deep over my head in the taco. Yep that's the new crawler and it's getting better every month. Still has aways to go. Hope all is well guys!

There's got to be a thousand Tacoma's running around the Kent county area. Just none of them seem to be in the modding/forum thing. Or they just don't know it exists.

Double cab prerunner. I've had a 2wd Chevy when I lived up in Clarkston and never had a problem, and I don't do a lot of off roading so I think the better mileage of the prerunner will be fine.

With 3-60lb sand bags up against the tailgate I rarely put mine in 4wd. Only when it's icy or I feel the need to pass everyone will I switch it over. Duratracs make a huge difference too though. The factory Dunlop at20 run fine for the first year. I had excessive wear and chunking beyond that.

Cool. the closest / best deal on a prerunner I can find is in Va. Would have to fly in and drive back.
