Snowmanwithahat, I'm up in Lansing and we have Spartan Toyota and on any given day I might see one or two. Mostly work trucks though. If you want to get together just let me know. I usually go out to Silver Lake Sand Dunes and meet up with ATVLifestyle. It is an awesome time. If you want to go in the spring let me know and we can meet up in Lansing and you can follow me to the dunes.

Bilstein 6112's 5th clip 1/4" spacer driver's side. Icon tubular UCA's with Delta joint, wheelers superbumps, ECGS bushing. Allpro standard leaf packs, 5160's, U bolt flip kit with wheelers super bump's, extended stainless steel brake lines, carrier bearing drop. Icon rebounds 17" with Nitto terra grappler G2's 285/70/17's.
I had 33x12.50x15's on my first one. It had the (new) 22R engine with the first 5 speed manual Toyota offered in the trucks. It was no speed demon but you couldn't kill it. Silver lake sand dunes couldn't. It climbed everything there. That was back when there was no directional traffic. You could go any direction you wanted. They had the ambulances and tow trucks lined up. They were busy! Ahhh, the good ole days.

We are planning the first trip currently. It will be either the first or second weekend in may.

As you suggested I ended up buying a long travel kit for my birthday present to myself. Wife can't get mad about a birthday gift right. Anyhow you won't want to miss the first test on it.

What LT kit did you go with or did you piece it together yourself? I'mm looking forward to seeing it and going for a ride. If you're going to test it out in May I'll be there. Just let me know what weekend.

I got a kit from MCM Fab. I blame it on you really. You planted the idea in my head my birthday was the perfect opportunity to order truck parts. So I did. :D

Cool. We will have to catch you at the dunes sometime.

On another note if anyone is interested I am about to put my old front suspension for sale.

Hi, Guys I got a 2015 Tacoma 4X4 in Oct. I live in Hesperia Mi. I was at the local sport shop this week there happen to be 4 Tacoma 4x4s parked there. We all are local sport nuts. One of the guys is on his 3rd Tacoma one had 260,000 miles on it was beat and well used.

Keep me posted on the Silver Lake trip in the beginning of May, I ended up getting rid of my Tacoma for a 2014 Tundra. Id like to see what she can do out there with my fellow Toyota owners!

I met up with atvlifestyle last year out there and that was pretty sweet. Too bad I was on my quad at the time

I'll make sure you get a ride this year. My truck will have all new suspension all the way around. It should be a more impressive truck all the way around adding about 4" of travel on each corner.

I was looking for a 1st Gen Tundra first, then a 1st Gen Taco, finally settled on a 2nd Gen Taco. Couldn't find anything else.

    I'm still happy.
