    Alright everyone - The mechanics at my dealership are not as bright as they think they are and i'm getting frustrated with them. Anyone have a good shop in the SE (greater detroit) area that they're pleased with? I'm willing to drive if need be, but would love to find something local.

    Well guys, I have to admit. Although a full time mechanical limited slip differential in the Ram is nice and quite frankly a necessity for 395hp. The Tacoma did much better in the snow. I'm sure skinnier tires have a lot to do with it.

    My Tacoma hasn't been driven in snow in a few years and I miss it but not because it does better than my jeeps. The Tacoma is alot of fun but a bit of a handful because of the 5 speed, supercharger, and how light it is. It isn't scary you just have to be on your toes.

    I was in awe of the fact that I saw an S-Runner the other day. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw one of those.

    Michigan Taco checking in. I'm from the west side, just south of Grand Rapids in Caledonia. I don't see a ton of Tacoma's around here, but I know there's got to be some.

    Also, are there any meets or anything in the area?

    Hi guys,

    A new 2015 DCSB (TRD Off-Road) owner here. Actually a new 4x4 owner in general, so I still have a lot to learn.

    Two unrelated questions;

    1. After purchasing both the base ORV sticker, and the additional State Land sticker, I placed both on the rear bumper. I'm now being told the additional sticker needs to go on the front bumper. Anyone heard of this? Does it really matter?

    2. I was thinking about making the three-hour drive over to Illinois for the purchase of a SnugTop cap. This is the closest Snugtop dealer I can find. Anyone ever do this? I'm looking for feedback on the quality of this dealer

    Thank you

    I always put my ORV and Trail pass on the back bumper. If you don't have a passport on you plate tag you can buy a sticker you are suppose to put on corner of your windsheild.

    I don't really know where to get a cap. There is one place by me that sells them called Starlite customs. They are in Benton Harbor.

    The ORV license and a trail permit are what you speak of. They should be fine on the back bumper.

    I would think there are other accessory dealers that can order one for you.

    Where in west mi are you? I recently purchased from Griffins truck caps (century caps) and love it. Fit and finish are good and quick delivery time.

    Thanks for the ORV sticker info, guys.

    I'm near Holland, and have checked out the local dealers. My heart is set on the SnugTop though, and I don't mind the drive. I called 'em last week. They claim only a 1-2 hour install time by appointment only. That sounds like a good day off work to me.
