If my plans fall through with the color tour I'll hit you guys up. I'll be up in the Petoskey area but can always change plans.

Looks like it might just be the two of us.
This Saturday's ride will begin where the other one ended. At US-10 & 37
There is gas, a subway and plenty of parking.
Just a few miles away is the Tin Cup ORV rout. Approx 20 mile loop through a beautiful forest of rolling hills.
Then the Little Manistee loop is within 10 miles to the north and connects to three other loops. More trail than can be done in one day. There are many quick and easy ways to get off the trail and back to the Hwy when the time comes.
Bring your own drinks and snacks, hot dogs are on me.
We can start as early as you like Ryan, it gets dark early so sooner the better.

    I'm game too, if that's alright. I don't have a ORV sticker.

I going to get the ORV sticker tomorrow. I have it for my old truck but I think it's worth having just to play it safe on the new truck too.
Pretty sure it's only around $40 to get both. It's confusing but there are two different ones.
I don't think it's required for the little Manistee loop, but I think it is for the Tin Cup. I've never seen any rangers or DNR out there but you never know.
Sure would love to have you join in.
I'm all cleaned up and ready to go

I just did some research and discovered all the trails we are planning to use on Saturday require the ORV stickers. They are small and can be put very close to the license plate in the pocket of the back bumper.

I would recommend putting them in your back window instead of on your bumper. No one has hassled me about it and the guys at Silver Lake signed off on it. Right behind the driver-side rear window.

Sounds like a good spot but I may end with a topper soon and don't want to block them in.

Well, I guess I'll have to try and go another time then.
I don't have enough time to go get ORV Tags tomorrow.

60 off road miles covering Tin Cup and lower & middle Little Manistee loop during near peak color was awesome.
After rifle season we will resume exploring forest / seasonal roads throughout northern Michigan, just can't seem to get enough trail.

I moved to West Michigan last year and have been exploring some dirt roads/trails near Holton. I like to stay close to home to cut costs and drive time. Love my new Tacoma and West Michigan, looking forward to participating in the next trail ride!

@TheWringer We often start with Leota and the Roscommon area.
We live in Coleman and feel blessed with how many trail options are within an hour drive or so. The most extreme trails we have been on (in the Hilux) are just a few miles from my house. River / creek crossings, mud pits and small sand dunes are all minutes away.
If the weather is not terrible we like to go trucking year round with the exception of rifle season and football Sundays as my wife is a professional FF coach.
Good thing you blacked out your wheels or I might get in the wrong truck when we go wheeling ;-)

I like your style! I'm over near Holland so those areas are around 2-2.5 hours from me. Is yours completely stock? Any mods in mind?

When reading your post I saw Holton and thought Holton Lake hence the excitement.
Not in a hurry to mod on the count of I plan on keeping it forever so there is plenty of time.
I did take the mud flaps off on the first day and have installed red tire caps recently lol
Lighting will probably come first (I like your light bar)
More aggressive tires when these where out and a topper are on the wish list. I like the stock look, call me crazy but think the wheels and chrome and color and ride height are all perfect as it they designed it just for me.
