You only rubbed mildly? I had to take my front fender flares off and cut the fender some.

What suspension? And did you replace UCA’s? I’m REALLY hoping I won’t have to do this when I put 295’s on. I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum. Don’t want to hack up a 2023 with only 3,000 miles on it. Some mild trimming is fine, but want to keep body panels “as is”

I have TC Uppers and Lowers with a CMC. I plan to "trim" 2" from all four corners. I've always liked the look, and now I have a tire that fills it how I want; I'll pull the trigger. I don't want to step up to a full 35x12.5 as that will require rubbing. Maybe someday I'll pick up the JD Fab lower kit, but the TCs are treating me well.

Well I'm a 2nd Gen so you might have different results.
I have a 3" Fox and I run SPC uppers, but I had a LCA bolt seized up so I couldn't max it forward at the time. That has just changed recently but I still don't have room for Fender Flares on the front. Even in the rear the inside of the Front Fender Flare is getting rubbed when I wheel.

You will definitely need a Deep CMC, plastic trimming, maybe a pinch weld. really depends on your wheel offset on how much you will need to cut. I have my JBA UCA's caster maxed out forward and that helped out with clearing the back wheel well a lil bit. my wheels are 17x9 -38.

Have had the Baja Boss AT's for about a month now. I thought that they would noisy while driving. Surprisingly not noticeable. Great on the trails. SO far happy with the tires.

Yeah I should have mentioned that I also had to do a CMC and bend the Pinch wield. I thought I had pics in this Thread of the work performed to get them to fit but I must have posted them somewhere else.

Have an appointment scheduled for the CMC, and am ok doing pinch welds, and trimming or heat molding inner plastics and liners. Just hoping all the painted parts will remain untouched. Will be putting on Fifteen52 Range HD wheels. 17x8.5 0 with an Icon stage 3 with their tubular UCAs

You should be good. your wheel choice isn't that too aggressive, so you should be able to get away with the CMC and maybe heat molding and trimming some of the plastic liner. you might be even able to get away w/o the pinch weld. mine just clears slightly on it but i'll still be pounding them to get a few more inches of clearance. just make sure you get a proper alignment as well after installation.

Good luck on mounting your new setup and show us a pic after.

This is my hope. Lol. Alignment is scheduled for the 30th. Lift and tires the 25/26/27. Not sure which day yet. I chose the fifteen52 wheels because of the offset. As well as not seeing them around my area. I try not to follow the mainstream if I can avoid it. ie: methods and bfg ko2’s

    And pictures will be shared

That is good to know. I am pretty sure I will have to a BMC, which I have sitting in my garage. I also have the high clearance wings on my front bumper, so I am hoping the trimming will be minimal.

It's not going to be easy to sit on these for the rest of the summer, until my Grapplers are finished. I bought them now since they aren't getting cheaper tomorrow, like everything else.
I'm hoping they chunk less on rocks than the Nittos and they have to be better in snow and rain.
    Can't wait

I just got some RRW wheels, was looking at that size in SL but was worried about tire looking small on the wheel. I may take advantage of the 285/70/17 in SL, for the 1 inch taller and wider but under 50 pounds. Will post soon when I get the tires and wheels set up. Hopefully no trimming with my 2 inch lift.

I wish that Mickey Thompson made the Baja Boss AT in 285/75/17 (34"). I would be very tempted. The 295/70/17's, although a little taller than the 285/70/17, seem like some of the heaviest AT's out there in that size. The Baja Boss is a front runner for sure if I stick with a 33". It'd either be that or probably a Falken Wildpeak.

The 255 is a true 34. The basic math says it should be a 33+. MT says it should be. 34+. My real world tape measure shows 34 dead nuts.

Correct, my front tires measured up at 34" with the weight of the truck and caulk tested air pressure around 34PSI. MT's website says they 34.6 which is considered a 35".

My Mickey T's in 255/85/17 (Red Truck) next to my buddy's Geolander MT in 285/75/17 you can't really see the size difference.
