I have already searched for this but couldn't find anything concrete.

I had a set of 15x8 classic locks on my 96 tacoma years ago but i don't know the backspacing or offset that they had since they were a birthday present. I now have a 2000 taco and am wanting to put these same wheels on again. I can only find the 15x8 classic lock with -30 offset and and 3.625 backspacing. The guy at discount tire said that these will not work with my truck and that i would have to go to a 16x8 with around 4in backspacing. It confuses me because like i said, i had 15x8's on my 96 tacoma with no issues. So the question is, will these work with my truck? And if so, how far will they stick out? Will it be that much different than the 4in backspacing i'm looking for?

Here's a link for the ones i'm looking at:

I also included a picture of my 96 with the 15x8 mickey thompson classic locks on it
