Hello everyone I need help just bought this 2017 Tacoma trd but it came with some issues I got cheap knowing the issues
1-Microphone is not connected message I can not pair my iPhone
2-back up camera won’t display in my stereo screen
    3-Driver settings is grayed
    4-Vehicle settings is grayed
5-volume control in the steering wheel don’t work
So I took it to 2 different stereo places and they told me most likely is the estéreo unit then I found a couple used same model number I connected everything but still have the same problem I was able to turn on drivers settings that’s it luckily the person let me try the stereo before I buy it. If you see last picture the 2 top middle slots mark with an X didn’t had anything connected I when I remove the head unit to I connect the other one so I wonder if anything goes there and if that might be the problem I didn’t find any other connections inside.
Does anybody had or have the same issue and how you fix it my other option is to get a stinger or any other stereo I Hear very good reviews about stinger but it cost like $1300 see pictures

Did you try removing the negative terminal of the battery, waiting 10-15 minutes, and then re-installing?

Very strange! Did this truck have any dash work done? It's almost behaving like someone mucked around with the dash / radio unit and then screwed it up when they put it back together. Good luck OP, I'm sure you'll figure this out.

Try resetting the radio. I believe you have to hold in the power button.

In mine when I switched out the head unit, I remember seeing an orange plug in the factory wiring harness labeled microphone. It might have came unplugged behind the radio.

    Hello everyone
Today was one of my happiest day in my life
I did make it work everything I mention
    The mic
    The back up camera
The volume control in my steering wheel
    The drivers settings
    And vehicle settings
Everything work now it took me like 45 min to remove half of the dashboard the was a plug missing that goes connect it to the 3rd connection from top left to right that controls all of them see picture that solve all the problems thanks every for the advice.
