Usually for most vehicles there is a light refresh sometime in the middle of the generation. I was curious if there was a similar refresh in the middle of the second generation tacomas, and how significant it was. This will help predict if there will be something similar for the turd gen.

Yes, in 2012, compare 2011 to the 2012 front.

You misspelled "third." Wait until 2021 for light refresh.

This. 8th model out of 11.

3rd gen is only 4 models in. So it could be a while.

I would expect a face lift when and if sales begin to decline. So I wouldn’t expect an appearance update on the 3rd gens for a while.

I remember when most vehicles received a “refresh” every model year... heck, that’s how we use to tell the difference between a 1970 vs 1971 vs 1972, etc (simple things like headlight & taillight housings, bumper changes). Now days we deal with generations... wow, vehecile manufactoring has really changed in my lifetime.

Yeah, but in the 70s and 80s they had to give you those things to distract you from the fact you were buying another fuckin’ Reliant.

Ah yes... the good ‘ol K car... what a POS. I was thinking more like the corvette year to year changes in the ‘60’s and 70’s

I’d like to think these two are still together, and although they are now older, every springtime they roll that beautiful Reliant out the garage to relive the carefree summer when they met.

He probably got testicle cancer and she got breast and ovarian cancer from just taking that car home.

I love how they left the empty spot for the front safety sense sensor when the 2016s launched in the grills.

Look for other similar goose eggs on the current models and maybe you have your answer!

Come on, it’s more likely they died a horrible, fiery death in that Iacocca crap box. I envision it breaking down on the road in the middle of nowhere, both of them high on meth and living out of their Reliant because they were kicked out of their rented mobile home. As he gets ready to step out to see what’s wrong, an 18 wheeler plows over them.

    Ahh, happy times indeed...
