I'm trying to figure out the same thing regarding skids to cover the DB stabilizers and T-case. Any progress on a design? I was thinking of running a skid from the main DB cross member and tying into the ends of the stabilizers (by the rear bushing mounts) and then running a separate piece from there back behind the T-case (somehow). BTW, nice work on the bumper!

I have not completed the skids yet, on my long list of stuff to do.

I originally had the same idea, but have since decided that the rear stabilizer brackets would not be strong enough if I dropped down on them. So the crossmember that they are bolted to will get a piece of T-beam bolted to it and I will use the flange of the T to join the skids. I have not had the time to redesign it in cad, but I have seen the skids spec ops use to upfit their hiluxs in country and this is the same concept. It will also allow transfer case back skid to clear the exhaust without modification. The aft most member will basically be a tube bridge between the frame rails.

I hope this makes sense, when I get the design finalized I will post it up here. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for the compliments on the bumper.

See the two bolts sticking out by the bracket, this will be one of the tie in locations (imagine an upside-down capital T)

I know you can take it. It looks great and the fact you built it is awesome!

If I had to do this again there are several changes I will make but for now and it being my first I am happy. I still need to add the brush guard and headlight wrap around, but they will come in time.

Completed installing my CB and Blue Sea 12 circuit fuse box.

    ty3ypezu_ccf6057c770ebb5137933073e26d8068c6cb3935.jpg

Next install will be a mount for my Galaxy Tab3(7.0) along with a dedicated charger.

Also, since I completed the front bumper, I will finish up my sliders and start on a rear high clearance bumper.

    Thanks for the help Brent!

2×2×.25 and1.5 by sch80 pipe would've liked DOM tube but used what I had. They start at 6" and then the kickout is tapered from 8" to 10".
