Mid Riser MX here - I sleep in it a lot for rock climbing. I would either go Mid rise - or regular with the Ez Topper Lift system. Your going to want the extra headroom over time to sit up a little while in bed. And the lady will like it too.

    Hi guys. Great thread.
I'm about to pull the plug on a Leer 180 for my 2015 access cab. My understanding from reading this thread and elsewhere on the web is that the top of the 180 rises about 4" above the cab height. Can someone tell me how much more height Leer's Thule Tracker II (or AreoBlade) roof rack systems add to the cap?
It's interesting to me that Leer and other manufacturers do not provide the height dimension for their respective flush mounted, mid rise and high rise cap models.
I hope everyone is staying healthy during these crazy-arse times.

This is direct from Leer that I acquired for the specs when I purchased a Leer 180 for my 2021.
I don't know if these are identical for the 2nd Gen but I'd guess they are or are close.

You could measure from the bed rails up for the highest outside dimension and get an idea on you truck. 20" for cab height and 23" for the mid-height 180.. but notice the inside dimension varies.

Fast1, thanks so much for the information. This group is tremendously helpful and I really appreciate it.
In addition to contacting a few local dealers I actually took the time to send an e-mail directly to Leer. All the dealers could tell me is "about 4" above the cab" and Leer, as of yet has not responded to my e-mail.
Can someone tell me, would I be safe to add another 5" to allow for the Thule roof rack?

Can someone measure the interior height of one of these high toppers for me?
