I have been looking for a mid sized SUV for my wife. Its been a not so serious search for a few months. Our first choice is the Highlander, she doesnt like the ride of the older 4 runners and the newer ones are too much money. Nissan is out, this week I started to look at the Honda Pilots and they seems pretty nice. and for the same options we are looking for in the Highlander (heated leather package) ,same year, similar mileage, pre owned certified... the Honda runs 4-5k less. Any advice or experience with these Hondas? Thanks

I know a few folks with Pilots, they love them. Just like Toyota's, Honda's are bullet proof. If you want to go a bit smaller check out the Hyundai's, they get damn good reviews.
