Well I already have the shackle flip with a 4x innovation stock length shackle and BAMF shock tower with kings. Just need new leafs eventually and was wondering if it could be done and if it would be good?

Going to be installing TC spindle, cam tab and UCA gussets with a dirt designs engine cross brace and a rear frame boxing kit along with a custom cross member. Anything else I should gusset/ strengthen while I'm at it?

Motor mount gussets are a good idea too. I'm not sure of the exact years but pretty sure it was 05-07 that had the weak motor mounts. You have to pull the front diff to do it but if you already have the UCA and LCA off pull the diff is really just 3 bolts.

Hey guys so I'm planning on buying crown performance brake lines 3" over stock, from the research that I've gathered stock lengths are 11" front and 21" rear. Which would make the new brake lines 14" front and 24" rear, I just want to doublecheck before I pull the trigger that, A the front won't be too long and B the rears won't be too short. So my soon to be setup consists of total chaos "stock length" uppers and lowers with extended travel kings, and my rear will have a Bamf relocation w/ 12 inch king's, dakar leaf pack and a shackle flip with either 4" or 5" shackles.

I just heard that the front doesn't necessarily need to be extended with a 3 inch lift and some people claiming their extended brake lines rubbing against something or another which could cause failure in the future. So do I even need the extra 3 inches on the front lines, and what length is everyone else running in the front?

And as for the rear I just want to make sure theyre long enough. @iJonny you posted a photo a few pages back of your rear set up with 24 inch brake lines, and I believe, hopefully, I'll end up with the same amount of travel as you so as long as I'm reading that correctly I should be OK with 24" rear brake lines... :fingerscrossed:

In the front im getting maybe 1" over stock made soon. It will be more than enough. The 24" in the rear are more than enough for me with room to spare

Good choice in setup though... but this is coming from a King/TC fanboy.

To my knowledge 05 and possibly 06 were the only weak years.

Regardless, still a smart idea. Very inexpensive security and if the front diff is already out a very quick and easy install.

I would recommend the Solo mounts over the DMZ mounts. Not because of anything wrong with the DMZ mounts, but Tim designed them to beef up the 05-06 mounts that had issues with caving in to the frame, and his mounts do not work with the extra gusseting Toyota added (unsure what year but they beefed them up a tad) while I have word from the LT thread that the Solo mounts work on them all

It was late 08 or 09 when they changed the mounts and gusseted them... Hence the reason I just went with solid mounts and no gusseting.

Solid mounted engine mounts or did you solid mount from the frame. These mounts help prevent the frame perch from caving in to the frame. So if anything the Solid mounted engine mounts cause more strain on the frame perches to the frame, so be careful Chris.

Mine are the gusseted ones already from Toyota. So I got Bonzens mounts. The engine and tranny dont move when I romp on it now.

Yeah, they slapped some like 1/8" metal around the perches, the way you romp I would HIGHLY suggest you get the solo gussets bro
