I welded in the tabs already. I really hope that i don't have to move them. I had just massaged them 2mm over to be more inline with the LCA mount

Yah so you have to unbolt the brake line part that’s bolted to the spindle then once it’s on I think you can get it back on. I’ll see if I have a photo. It’s no longer on the truck.
I had tried first time and didn’t get it to work then tried again and worked out.

Next you will be getting McNeils +2s lol. Try those .75 spacers. If they don’t work you can always sell them on here

Ive seen a couple guys do it, but seemed like a one-off.

not sure whats next, more king goodies? Maybe rear air bumps, or pull my bamf shock relocate and swap for Archive and get 12" triple bypasses. Im running out of things to do, besides long travel

I got 12”in the rear. They work well, but are definitely position sensitive. I was on the icon leaf pack option 2, which put the ride height in the wrong position. When I lowered it to option 1, it was night and day.

I have 12" smoothies with clickers in the rear also. Have Dakar HD + AAL, but need to swap to the Deaver stage 3 that i have waiting to go in.

Best thing you can do is LT SUA the rear. It’s a game changer. If you don’t want to want to do a bed cage look into the JDFab SUA. 14 inch shocks under the bed and 16+ inches of travel. Cost wise will be on par with going with the archive setup. But you get more travel with the JD kit

@Airdog also gotta realize Im in VA. Not too many places to utilize LT here, which was my reasoning for sticking with bypasses and MT up front. I am happy with my rear setup, just wish i had done Archive instead of BAMF for the relocation

I ran mine that way for 2 years. It was very capable. But going LT front was a game changer.

I would have done that for the rear had I better though things out. Also now for weight reasons I’m not sure it would work out well. maybe if I lighten the load at some point. Although I do wish ai had done 14” over 12” I was fling to but takes myself out of it. With my 12” setup and heavy Deaver pack the leaf pack now is the limitation.

A +2 kit wound be too bad in that case. But you will def run out of things then go onto the next setup. The MT setup is still pretty capable so push it and have fun.

With my setup I get 14 vertical rear/16 at the shock flexed, basic midtravel front. It works pretty damn great, but in the dunes/whoops you can definitely tell the inbalance. Front has half the travel, so through the whoops you can definitely tell the front is full stroke to full bump the whole time while the rear is just chillin

I've been lurking on this thread since buying some quality ADSs for my 3rd gen 4Runner last spring. After six years of ownership (this is also my first car, bought it fresh outta high school) I'm starting to daydream about my next setup, which I'm 80% sure will be a facelifted 2nd gen Tacoma. LT is fun to drool over but living in Montana, I'm doubtful I'd use it to its full capabilities. Not to mention, this thread has shown me how fun and capable a proper MT setup can be. Just wanted say thanks for all the words of wisdom and experience to you all. After going through three different suspension setups on my current vehicle, I'd like to do it right the first time.

Anyone else with Spcs bottoming out the uca on the inner wheel well? Think it more specifically happens when the superbumps get super hot

Can you rethread the top of my king coils? Not sure if the whole top plate is aluminum or if it has to be replaced.
