Great news!! I guess I'm getting a sweet deal. I'm going with a different reputable Toyota shop, (here in the Denver area) they matched and beat the other quote I received for my Mid Travel install. I'm going with RSG in Lakewood, CO. I won't say the exact price but they gave me a smoking deal based on all of the above estimates. I've read they are pretty good with a few complaints here and there.

    Thanks TW friends!!

Anybody on here have any experience with RSG in Lakewood, CO? They're installing my Mid Travel kit on Thursday.

Dropped her off at RSG today. Mid travel Total Chaos kit. I'll post pics when they finish. I'll also comment on the whole experience including customer service.

Here we go. First few pics. Working with RSG was great. Great customer service, best pricing (for what I had).

They made some adjustments post install which made me real happy.

    Bitchin!!!

Looks great! Love the TC LCA's! I know you have to swap out the LCA's with a long travel build, but what is the benefit (if you aren't running a secondary shock) in a mid-travel build other than they are more solid than the stock arms and they look fantastic? Do they grant any more articulation used in conjunction with the TC UCA's than a stock lower would?

Def are more robust, allows for a secondary shock like you said, poly bushings that are greasable with zerk fittings and wont seize. Sad part is if he ever went LT, he would need a full LT kit (UCAs and LCAs) and LT coils with extended axles as well.

Heck yeah thanks so much for the compliments!!! The thing I noticed with the stock length TC Lower Control Arms.

The truck was raised maybe a little over 2 inches. The CV axles stayed almost absolutely level, there was no real bend that I could see. Versus the stock UCA's.

I'm pretty sure with stock UCA's the CV's would have been a little angled. I could be wrong, but it just seems like the TC UCA's help complete the setup with out any hiccups.

The guys at RSG really out did themselves. I had some issues with the install, and also with the install of the clam shell bushing. They took care of me right away. Thanks RSG!! Those guys seem to know their stuff.

The clamshell bushing tool broke. I called ECGS and they said the installers were at fault so they're sending me a new tool

Cool man, I'll have to keep the LCA's on my radar if they help maintain appropriate CV angles and minimize boot wear and vibes.

That's what I currently run in C load flavor.

    Happy with them so far.

Control arms won't change the CV angle unless they are different from stock length. What aftermarket upper control arms with heims can do is to help with issues coming from a lift is that they give the suspension a greater amount of adjustability for caster and camber. All aftermarket uca's will also not bind on the coils at droop as quickly as stock upper arms or not at all until something else binds.

CV angle is determinant on two things - height of the center of the wheel hub and height of the differential. The height of the center of the wheel is only determined by your tire and wheel diameters. The cv coming out of the hub has to be parallel to the bottom of the tire which has to be parallel to the ground.

The differential rises with the frame when you lift your truck - the only way that can be helped is by a differential drop, which usually don't actually drop the whole differential (at least on first gens), but rotate it down so the pinion and the front driveshaft don't move.

Here's some good discussion on the stock length lca's when they first came out:

    Sweet setup OP.
