This is the great debate. All brands are pretty good. I went with ICON because I wanted everything to match. Also, I got them for 20% off from metal tech offroad. The boxed DSM arms look bad ass and I know a guy that has a pair, he loves them. It's nice to know you have the strength of the uni balls and there is a little bit of bling apeal that goes with them. I say spend the money the first time so you don't question yourself down the road and want to upgrade.

Thanks bud! I just want everyone to be confident about what they are doing to their rigs. Come wheeling with us sometime, it's always a blast out in the spots we go. :)

Uniball lower's and uppers are amazing! I had no idea I would expect that vast of a ride improvement over stock, but even the coilover's I have which used to be a little harsh on impact over rough imperfections both on and offroad a little now softened up and absorb the blows SO much better now thanks to the delrin bushings on the lowers and the poly's on the uppers.

WORLDS better of a ride now vs. the stock CA's huh?!

Well I got them installed and set at 3" and they ride kinda bad. Really stiff. My problem is vibrations in the floorboard and steering wheel. I was thinking maybe Les Schwab did a shitty alignment.

Did you get the adjustable shocks? If you did, you'll need to take a look your compression (and rebound, if applicable) damping settings and adjust as necessary. If set too high, they will ride stiff.

But they will also break in slightly (get softer over the course of 500-1000 miles, depending on what you are driving over), so that's another thing to consider.

Also, try dropping the lift down to 2.5". It seems that a lot of people have problems at 3"+ while the people who have problems at 2.5" or less is much reduced, so maybe that 1/2" difference is enough to save you some headache.
