    It comes in spray and I used the weld through primer ad well as the etch primer. It's about 10$ per can.
    When I de chrome my bumper and grille I will use it for the primer.

    I avoided my threads when I sprayed mine, I guess if you don't plan on adjusting the collars it would be fine but that shit collects a ton of dirt
