The 700# coils are hard to compress and the ones you can rent at Vatozone are sketch as fawk.

You need to find a local shop with a compressor. Remove them yourself and take them to be done.

This is how I would do it.

I didn't know you could do that on the Kings. I though they were just adjustable. We are talking about these things right?

They don't work like that. The top of the coil doesn't set in the coil bucket. Its sets underneath a collar that's threaded on the shock. Look at a pic of some and you'll understand.

Gotcha cool. Thanks guys learn something everyday. I can pretty much definitively day I will never be able to afford kings. Then again I've never had the pleasure of riding in a truck with them so luckily I don't know the difference or I'm sure I would be running out to buy some. :D

I'm just wanting to go to a stiffer spring. Say you have 885's and wanted to go to 886's

The derp is strong in ya'll. I've never heard of that and my 63s did great at URE on plenty of obstacles. Plus I didn't have any shocks with them for a few weeks and did a couple wheeling trips. I could see if you do the swap wrong and your axle isn't centered perfectly.
