Hurry up and install those rock lights! I've been looking at getting some but haven't decided on which route to go. Lot's of rock light options out there and would like to hear your feedback.

And to tag along with what everyone has said, talk to those on here that will shoot straight with you and not try and sell you on some "too good to be true" story with nothing in writing to back it up. I really respect that you want the best for your family and want them to be proud of you. Just keep in mind what the military will ask of you and your family. Long deployments, getting re-stationed every few years and more. It's a lot to think about. There will be hard sacrifices made. You will most likely miss birthdays, holidays, some "firsts" for your kids from time to time. Those are just some of the bad, but there are plenty good as well. Hope it all works out for you. I'd say go in as an officer if you are that close.

The whole OCS thing coming in off the street is not as easy as many think. If whoever it is has questions, PM me, and I will assist as much as I can. I was an Army recruiter for 4 yrs and finished just about 8/9 months ago. Good luck with whatever your choice is.

Thanks for the awesome words buddy. I'm going to go back to school in August and get my bachelors so after I get that and end up thinking about going into the military then I will. I really do appreciate everyone's respect and helping me decide on a path!

Got a set of these coming. I like how with these you don't have to trim anything and they just bolt on. They also have a lower profile look.

Ok well changed my mind some and ended up going this route. I did that because it's on sale right now for $383 shipped. By the time I got everything I needed for the other setup I would be in it at this or even a little more. I believe this will have a cleaner finish also....now to figure out where I want to mount it

I got an associates degree in mechatronics technology (deals with electric and mechanical engineering) and I also have a associates degree in industrial electronics. I'm not really sure what I want to do...

In my experience it was really 50/50, some guys coming in as civilians did better in OCS

Feel fortunate.....I still have MOST of my tax prep to do....We own several rental houses located in 3 different counties. Got a ton of BS to get ready for them before filing. It'll be August before I see any refund, assuming I even get one.
