Please allow me to be the devils advocate here.

I should insert my default disclaimer before i start.
*all opinions expressed are those by the OP and may or may not be shared by others.

Lets look at your setup for sake of argument.
So, because you have a 12" shock and the BAMF relocate the most you are going to see is 12" of travel. As we learned with your lower mounts that need to be relocated the most safe amount of droop those shocks are going to have is 11.5"
Right now as it stand you could easily get that out of the pack you have and see all the flex you would need and pack a decent amount of weight.

So why sell this pack for a bastard pack that will yeild minimal gains over what you have?

I understand that others have 14s and flatbeds and dont pack a ton of weight but you, isnt your plan to expo?

You are right....my plan is to be an expo type build but the ride with these dakars are stiff as f*^k with no weight in the back. I don't really carry a lot of stuff when I go camping. I have a ground tent and some camping goods but that's basically it. I can see having stiff springs if I carried a lot but I don't. I may see what leaf can be taken out of this pack to help with the stiffness.

You're adding a HC plate rear, full size spare and highlift? Any rotopax? Topper? Bed rack? RTT?

You can throw a couple of bags of sand back there for now if its that hard of a ride. Otherwise the shackle flip will help.

3rd leaf down, makes the ride smoother and will drop you about the thickness of the leaf so maybe 5/8"? Either way, imo a shock relocate and Chevy swap is absolutely pointless unless you are putting your shock through the bed due to the time and money spent and only gaining an inch or so in droop. Save your money. By some cool expo things like a fridge and RTT to put some weight in the bed.

I didn't get the swing out with my HC yet....that will be later on. I'm wanting an RTT but funds are tight right now while it's summer time and vacation planning.

Low and slow.. chopped up on 35s
I don't have very much in my 63 swap... Probably less than most with their dakars and shackle flip kits... I plan to run 14s on a flatbed at some point but not now

So if this is the way you are going why sell a perfectly good expo pack and swap 63s?

Save your pennies for the flips and fixing the rear and be done. Those expos will support that weight and be better for your build overall

Yea you would get the most benefit out of throwing the shocks through the bed with that set up, Andrew already has a shock relocate, just don't think for him, doing a Chevy swap is gonna really give him much more flex for the time and money invested. It'll be much more convenient for him to pull some retainer clips from the dakars for extra droop, do a shackle flip, and stick with those leafs. Droop wouldn't be that much different.

I removed the top overload when I did the shackle flip because I didn't want the height plus get better (imo) flex out of the pack and didn't effect ride or load. ARB recommends removing the 3rd leaf down to smooth out the ride, reduced load however.

Sorry man. If you were going to make a bad decision I would try to talk sense into you also.
Remember, it is Ace here. Shit could change tomorrow and he trades in the truck for an Impreza , E-cig and a deep vneck.

I'd hold off too, especially if you're still planning on those 700s up front still.

All the weight I've got and my fronts are finally beginning to break in and soften up a little without losing any lift. My rears are still a bit stiff but I've got no real weight back there yet.
