Go get an alignment, the tech will tell you if they're f'd at all. And then maybe your vibes will go away too

 

I spent 200 with a drop off in the morning, pick up same afternoon

 

Here a retube is about $140 plus $80 for balancing. I'm going to redo mine soon since it's winter and won't be hitting the rocks

 

Is that the locker actuator next to the ds? Never looked at an off road rear end.

Damn boots are to close together. How far up are the suppose to be on the axle?
Also I have like a little bouncy ride. When in reverse the exhaust rattles on the tcase skid. I guess I hit the tcase skid hard and moved the exhaust

 

That's ride height? If so you want to do the boot slide mod. Mine aren't that close.

Are you sure it's not rubbing on a little bracket that goes from the cross member to frame? My exhaust rattled on that till i took it off

 

I'm pretty sure they slide on this last trip. They do don't look that bad at all before.

 

I thought boot slide mod was for inner boots only?

 

Mine does that shit at low rpms and it drives me nuts. It's actually on the short list to fix this weekend.

 

Idk but I'm taking every skid and off and making sure nothing is messed up and also going to fix the boots this weekend. Any ideas or anything on how to move the boots up? I couldn't get them to budge yesterday....

after talking with the wife yesterday the following is in the works

• (5) mtr/k 37x12.50r17
• (5) 17" SCS f5 w/ 3.5" bs
• Tub job done by Eddy
• 1" Body lift
• Raise bumpers up to match with truck
• Arb front locker
• 4.88 gears
• New driveshaft

Will be selling my wheel and tire setup for $1400 OBO that's (5) 16" SCS black f5s with 3.5" bs and (4) 315/75r16 Cooper mtps.
Hoping to start on all this in the few weeks. The only come back wife had was she gets a 4Runner out of this
