Going to try and wait it out till after our trip in December to start the cutting and hacking for the 37's. Will be hitting windrock in December so after that trip the fun will begin. Super stoked for this and hope I can wait till then

Definitely nowhere near the price of an SAS. Shit just to get the axles complete is roughly $6k. Then fab work on top of that and everything else needed is close to $20k. So yeah I'm sticking with what I'm doing.

What are you doing all new housings and internals?
Why not go with some 8 lug 1 tons used? Perhaps find some that have already been built?

The plan is 1 tons from a ford. But still to get them fully built with gears and lockers in both is right at $5k. Them bitches aren't cheap to be built right.

Ford 9 in the rear and a Dana 60 in the front...

You can do a leaf spring setup too, don't think you HAVE to go with coilovers in the front

Rather like I said do it right the first time when it comes to SASing. Definitely going with coilovers up front.

Do it right the first time? What makes you think running leaf springs up front isn't a right way to run a SFA vehicle?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing leaf springs as opposed to coilovers. Will you get a better street ride out of coilovers, absolutely, but personally I'd rather do leaf springs, and in fact I have..... aside from the cost savings, it's a simpler solution IMO...

I'm personally about the ride some nice this is still my DD. Don't get me wrong they're are some very nice leaf spring swaps out there. But for my personal suit I'd rather just go with coilovers.
