I second this, those LT travel ones will be too long for stocks axles. SDHQ sells them for $50 or so a pair.

 

You guys talking about the porche cv boots?

 

Unless you absolutely love changing cv boots don't get the sdhq ones

 

I ran those on stock axles they fit well

 

The LT will work fine with stick axles. Seen a few people on here running them.

It would work, Amazon has a black one if you wanted that. I'd just wait till the 42" is back in stock.

 

Isn't there another good name brand people are using?

 

I've only known people using Plano because it's cheaper than pelican and don't feel bad about drilling into a $60 case

 

I used plano for this reason. been pretty happy with them, although they don't seal the best and I sometimes have moisture on my stuff. Not to the point that it's a problem for recovery gear, but keep that in mind if you're storing something up there that's prone to rust
