We tend to agree on a lot of things in this build. That's what I would've gone with, I'd rather not use spacers especially on 2nd gens

I mean spacers aren't the end of the world but those wheels would give you the best chance of maybe not needing spacers. But yes we tend to agree on a lot!

Yeah they aren't but it's just more stress on the already poor bearings you guys have. But I get Ace wants to change it up and more power to him!

Nothing wrong with spacers. Just keep them properly torqued and keep any eye on them. Just wanting to change wheels up is all.

It is more stress for sure, thankfully I only have to run them in the rear.

As long as you torque them properly and check them every tire rotation you'll be fine.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
... wheels with 3.5" BS put exactly the same stress on wheel bearings as 4.25" BS wheels plus 0.75" spacer.

The distance from the bearing to the wheels center of mass is what is hard on wheel bearings. doesn't matter if that distance is from the wheel specs or from spacers.

Spacers or less backspace is the same thing to the bearings. Makes no difference

Using a block of wood to hold the brakes on to remove the spacers, and then you can remove the front rotors. One more step.

Ohh yeah that is annoying. I just have someone step on the brake pedal but doing it by yourself sucks.

Yeah I'm not going to do it by myself and I do the maintenance stuff on a lift so that's a big help.

You're not gonna use an impact to install wheel spacers. Maybe removing, but certainly not install.
