    I mounted my Axe that way and it seemed like it was almost too heavy for them. They drooped down on the side the axe head was on.

    You're going to have to look that up to be sure. I don't think you top off the boot but just generously add it to the joint it covers.

    No but I'm going to. I have my shovel mounted on the back wall with quick fist clamps. Don't like them, they shift.

    The Pelfreybilt mount is a solid mount, plus you can get the locking knobs to keep the shovel and axe secure in the bed from thieves.
