Ok let's talk u bolt flip. Which is good and why? Need to do this before the meet. I wouldn't mind doing a write up on them also on which is good and why.

No, you don't need to do it before a the meet. Sure it's a clean look but not necessary.

It also depends on what you plan to do in the future. If you're going to add hydrobumps than do a flip at that time so you can get one with a strike plate for the bump.

I don't think I need hydro bumps around this area. I think my super bumps will be just fine.

So there you go. You're not picking up that much clearance with a flip and its not necessary now to get the truck to Gulches.

I think you need to get out just so you can experience just how capable the Tacoma is and start to polish your skills. No amount of mods is going to help the experience you gain while wheeling in that new truck.

Out here I've seen fully built Heeps struggle to get up a hill that a prerunner went up. The difference, the prerunner Taco had a damn good driver behind the wheel.

Stefen is a good driver with a lot of balls. He was motivated to prove that a locked prerunner could do so much and he did that well. I'll miss seeing that build at our meets for sure.

Yea, that's a tough one. But since you're going 700# coils you should go steel.

U-Bolt flip just isn't needed on these trucks in my opinion, I've wheeled all over with my rig and rarely hit the spring perches. I'm constantly in the rocks. I guess if you are just throwing money at the truck then the extra clearance would be nice but if being hung up by the stock location happens and you cant continue, you're a shit driver and/or picked a terrible line.
