I understand that, which is why common sense encouraged me to articulate the LCA while 100 ft/lbs was applied to the UCA uni ball bolt. There was no tension on the UCA/spindle connection when the bolt/nut was torqued.

Would be my guess as well. If your drooped too much the misalignment will hit the cup when tightening, there really isn't any other reason it should do that

Common sense isn't so common these days so I'm just relaying info on the only possibility I know of that would cause that exact issue.

The LCA does not need to be articulated when snugging them down. You just need the LCA to be at a similar angle to where it would sit if it was under the trucks weight.

I'm glad they are sending you a new one, and I hope you figure out how it happened so the new ones don't get FUBAR.

I do the same thing, but I tend to mark the nut. I would think the nut would tend to spin before the bolt

Anyone know what I need to charge my Icons with. I feel they are flat or the springs are shot.

    Lots of expensive shit
Technically neither one is supposed to publicly advertise icon products below icons listed price which is 31.45 on icons site. So I wouldn't promote a price battle on here.
