rear drums, possibly calipers at a future time
    fuel tank skid/lower shield
spare set of salvaged OEM alloy wheels for the winter which cost a little more than I would like
and the frame, which was a surprisingly modest cost i thought

definitely going to get the skid done ($45) as soon as I can get it off,
as long as its not weathered to the extent I have to get a brand new one (very hard to find a good salvaged one I am finding out)

what are your 2nd and 3rd gen fuel tank shields made of?

I’m in the Springfield MO area as well. New to the website. Have a TRD prerunner so it’s only 2wd though so I don’t know yet how off road/trail capable it is. Would like to know what trails you are looking at and how sporty they get.

You can definitely do a lot with only 2wd. Just have friends or a way to get yourself unstuck (shovel, etc).

@Cav_BluTRD and I are hitting up some stuff in MO somewhere this coming weekend (18/19) if you are interested.

i can freely goto KC now quickly that I-29 south has re-opened :) ahead of schedule!!
    ....
shellshock, any future plans to do a xCountry trip on US34/US40 to Salt Lake City?
I noticed that road was not on your travel map
it is a required road in Rocky Mountain Travel, imo of course!
I did it back in 1998 (except through RMNP - it was closed in mid June and had to re-route through Denver)

I’ve done 34 (trail ridge road) from Loveland to Grandby. I don’t currently have any plans but I’m probably going to make a 4th of July trip out west again so that might be a good section to add!

US34 through IA and NE straight to RMNP, a very long (time wise) route but maybe more scenic than I-80

yes, NE only has 1 major route interstate (not including the 680/480 or the tiny bit of 76 out west)
not sure if any other state can say that! lol

I mean even SD and ND have 2 going all the way across state!

This weekend @Shellshock and myself are running a bunch of the Trans Missouri Overland Trail. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join. We will be camping Saturday night in the Mark Twain forest. I’ll be posting a meet up location later this week.

This Saturday/Sunday @Shellshock and myself are going to do a run down the Missouri Overland Trail. It’s not going to be any bad “off-roading” and any stock vehicle should be able to join if they want.
@Shellshock and myself are camping the night in the mark twain forest Saturday, but there will be plenty of places to peel off if you want to return home that same day.

If you’re interested in joining, me and @Shellshock will be at the Mobile in St Clair at 10 am —> 1445 N Main St #44, St Clair, MO 63077
Here is prettymuch the route that we’re going to take-
