    During the summer on saturdays there’s a cars & coffee in DSM that meets at the REI parking lot in west Des Moines.

    There’s a few decent parks around that everyone could meet at to camp / grill / etc. The state parks can get pretty busy at times but a lot of the county parks are usually empty.

    Side note, where I live in MO we have a camp ground in my community (Lake Sherwood) and I was thinking about setting up a meet here. We’d have to rent out the camp ground. Think we have 20 spots. I will post more info once it warms up.
