    I just got back-
    Had 4 tacomas a 4 runner and a tundra
We did some gravel roads in the forest that are a part of the trans Missouri over landing trail I believe
@95tojo @CygnusX191 and the 4 runner peeled off at around 3:00 and @Cav_BluTRD @Shellshock and I went for another 2 hours till I peeled off and they are camping tonight. I believe Cav's wife has a few pictures of us all, the only one I have is of myself after heading out

I also have a picture of a goose I plowed not 30 seconds from my driveway if you are interested:anonymous:

I only wound up with one good one. Original image is the bottom one, sharpened it and added a black and white filter for the other 2

Sooo... looking at the trails you rode, you think they could have been done in a 2wd Tacoma with the trd and rear electric locker or was it a bit too much. Trying to decide if I can keep my truck like it is or if I need the 4wd.

Looks like you guys could have used a chainsaw or a machete in post #391.

You could have done everything we did expect 1 little thing in 2wd. Might have made it. But it’s a big might.

But. If you show up we go to the limit of the truck. So if you’re 2WD then we do all things that you can do. And if there are any complaints they can go the f home. (I doubt anyone would complain lol)

@Shellshock probably was pulling out his silky saw in that picture. That stuff isn't big enough to bother with a chainsaw.

I ran across a similar situation last year on the pipeline and the machete worked well. The chainsaw is nice for bigger things, though.

I took a solo ride last Wednesday while I was up north an wound up on a road with too much brush to even bother. The 4runner is now sporting some serious trail rash:mad:

As @Cav_BluTRD said you would be fine except for maybe one climb, but I honestly think if you locked the rear and put it in low range you would be fine with some speed. I used 4wd a couple times but mostly because the gravel was not packed and I removed my mudflaps (should have left them on) and I didn't want to tear up anyone's paint throwing gravel.
I am to go back this week to tool around with friends before leaving for the summer so if you (or anyone else) wants to tag along I have a recovery strap and i can try stuff first in 2wd- i probably will anyways for some excitement and ill let you know how it goes if you cant make it.

There’s always one problem child in every group ;)

Im super glad we were able to get @Cav_BluTRD truck sorted out after it decided to throw a fit and go into limp mode early on. So much for the “fixed TSS sensor”. Good job Toyota :bananadead:
