I-29 in Iowa closed again due to flooded roads or something...
cruised I-80 in Iowa with my nephew today (his mom needed him out of the house for the afternoon), who took this pick making necessary pitstop near exit 8,
the texture of the weeds, glistening chrome mirrors with truck traffic coming up fast from behind should win him an award as an amateur photographer lol
he said he just liked the looks of the rear tires at this vantage point
i have always liked the 'dual' view of these types of shots on the road

That wild parsnip is no joke! My GF wandered into some years ago. It burned her!

i am having difficulty locating any 1st gen tacoma's in your pics! (let alone one as old as mine)
are they non-existent in your area? they seem to be in my area these days, i see an occasional 'newer' 1st gen on the roads here but not too many anymore
