There’s also less traffic across i70. I-80 you are constantly fighting semis

If Nebraska would make I-80 6 lanes across the state with semis banned from the left lane, I’d complain a lot less

Nothing better than being stuck behind a semi going 70.01 MPH while he spends 20 minutes passing a semi going 70.005:annoyed:

I was wondering if it was a reference to the Primus song. Les Claypool is my bass hero!

    If not, nevermind.:)

Long explanation: first name Jake middle name Thomas, and I have always loved fishing, and fished competitively the past few years for my college's team.
Short explanation: an old username my dad picked for me that stuck.

That's cool! I'm a bit obsessed with fishing myself.

John the Fisherman was a song by Primus, a band I was a huge fan of when I was young and a big influence on my bass playing.

    I was just curious:rolleyes:

It's also a great place to get caught driving in an ice storm. I came upon a whole bunch of emergency vehicles and cars in the ditch on the way to Florida a few years ago. That was a nervous ride!

That's the area! I got freaked out when I realized that I was pretty much driving on ruts in the ice!

I've had a few really lousy trips down. The first time I drove down it snowed through half of Indiana and most of Kentucky. That really slowed me down.
