i was only able to spray the Canadian corrosion free stuff on one side of my driveshaft, i will spray FF on the other side and compare the two products in the real time!

Fluid film will work. I honestly don’t see how something can work better.

smell for one lol (sorta sensitive), and I need to test about the accumulation of grit that FF seemed to attract on me from dirt and sand with no sloppy winter driving yet, and then the hosing down at the wand wash of body panels, door jams, wheel wells, bumpers, etc
its going to be extremely difficult for me to break that 1/4 century habit and just let it get all nasty and whatnot

i admit i am one to belabor and cause undue stress upon myself
doctor told me i need to chill out some because the BP is getting elevated

Smell yes....for two weeks.....that’s the only strike against FF. It will attract grit, but that will dissipate upon either you washing the underside or a rainy day.

Everyone makes a big deal out of the smell. It’s a couple days. Change your diff fluid. That smells way worse

both of which are better than the skunk that’s been wandering around here

its just all new stuff to me, never heard of it before TW
the local body shop guy that has done a couple repairs on my truck over the past decade, hood and fender, had never heard of it before either when I asked him the other day

he told me he cannot fix the couple of chips i have behind my mudflaps without painting the whole side of the bed  guess i will spray FF all over it
currently am also testing FF on the naked part of my frame on passenger side that only has a zinc phosphate coating, its hard to tell if it has washed off or not, have not noticed any flash rust pop up yet so that is good

the chips are rusted now! just a small bit
i do have a paint pen from Toyota, about $12, i was going to look into getting a clear bra film put on back there after i touch it up but not sure how the film would look with little touchup bubbles!

damn this truck, its ruining me :annoyed:

thats what i was trying to get the collision body shop guy to do and figure out but said he couldn't do that
some type of cutoff point i don't have back there, forgot what he called it
its real minor i think but knowing how trucks get around here back there it will just get worse in time

Usually a body shop will cut it out and replace the section then refinish everything

if the FF prevents buildup of the winter slop on all suspension parts that will be a great +
if it just slides off that will mean less trips to the wash to hose it all off, why my control arms are in relatively nice cosmetic condition i think for its age and mid west climate, they are still aged and weathered though
