i am fairly confident that once all the crappy frame coating is replaced with a better & durable coating that is more chemically resistant there will be one less thing
i found a close by shop that can remove the bed for me and my neighbor can trailer it back 'maybe' so i can access all the hidden parts i need to restore

so far that paint in the upper portion seems fairly good condition, no peeling other than a couple of spots on top of the frame rail that i have no clue how that ever became like it is, must've been some slop that just sat up there and seeped through :notsure: IDK, should be able to scrape it off and just use some encapsulator or POR-15 sprayed, cross that bridge when i get to it

I keep changing what I like, the good thing is each wheel set I get is something that relatively everyone wants so I get a good deal back of what I initially paid. That in return makes it pretty cheap as I upgrade to newer wheels.

If you want oem, look on here before you go to the dealer. You’ll get a much better deal like the one offered above.

i think it would be most difficult to find any like-new wheels that have not been originally equipped on a tacoma since 2000, they changed design and size in 2001 as far as i know

that is not a bad price!
