Might be a long shot, but does anyone live in the valley with a rivnut tool

I'm slowly trying to fix up this junk forerunner that I bought, and I want to install the factory spoiler thing. It requires a rivnut tool, and my mechanic was going to do it but he says he can't find his rivnut tool. I don't have enough used to buy one, so I'm just wondering if anyone has one and wants to help me out. I just need six of them put into the tailgate, already have the holes drilled out. I can bring you a couple beers or something.

I don’t have one but you may be able to rent one from autozone.

If you’re only doing 6, you can do it with a bolt, nut, and washer. Thread the nut on the bolt, then the washer, then thread the bolt into the rivnut until it is flush on the back of the rivnut. Insert and start turning the nut down on the bolt, pulling the rivnut just like you would with the tool. Not as elegant, but works fine for a few.

I'm in Sunland and have one. It's nothing fancy, but it works. Let me know if you still need it.

Sorry for the late response, but I really appreciate the offer. I just ended up buying one from Amazon that I'll probably return afterwards.

That's what I did too, but ended up keeping it. Found it useful for a few projects. Best of luck!
